Who we are

We are a married couple that have been working with dogs almost all our lives. My name is Pedro and I am from Europe, Portugal where I started to train my first dog at a training school in 1994. After that first experience I was hooked on the profession. The school offered me an internship where I was taught by the best European trainers on how to handle all situations about the job. After a while I was hired and began to train dogs and their owners, trained others who had a passion to train dogs, gave seminars, and judged dog shows for about 5 years. I was able to build connections with trainers, and shelters helping to solve problems all before I arrived in America in 2010.
Since I've been living in Palm Beach County, I have been able to grow in my profession by showing clients how I am able to give fast results with very easy techniques. My one on one style with clients gives them my undivided attention to address their specific interests and needs.

My unique approach is teaching you, and your dog or puppy, without using fear, pain compliance or food-based training methods. This ensures positive results, a confident dog, and a life-long rewarding relationship with your companion. I teach you to understand how your dog thinks, learns and communicates by helping you to understand the psychology of your canine.

As my experience evolved I also learned to understand what owners needed during this training process. Our lives are so busy these days, and our dogs donĀ“t come with a switch to transform all the bad behaviors to good behaviors. So my job is to teach you how to interact with your dog in a positive way, free from  frustration so having a well-mannered, loving canine family member is not only the goal for most owners but most definitely a neccessity.

My
Mission / My Goal

My mission is to offer fast, effective dog training that is a positive experience, easy to understand, reliable in "real world" situations and lasts for the life of the dog. I pride myself on a "natural approach" to dog obedience training, and believe that a trained dog is a free dog.
