2. Walking on a leash where the leash is always loose (6ft Leash)

3. Heel where the dog walks on your left side

4. Down command where the dog downs and stays with distractions (with hand gesture)

5. Claim Space You Claim the area you do not want your dog in without giving any commands

6. Place where a towel is used to act like a crate without walls. The dog CANNOT leave without your permission. Distractions are utilized to ensure command

7. Auto-Sit where the dog will automatically sit by your side when you stop walking

**Basic Obedience LEVEL 1 is our most popular and successful program. In Basic Obedience, I will teach you how to train your dog at your location. The majority of training is done on-leash. At the end of this phase your dog will know Sit, Stay, Come, Heel, Down, Off, Leave it, and Place (Polite). Your dog will follow all these commands during distractions and without food bribes. When in heel (walk next to me) your dog will happily pay attention to which directions you choose to walk and stay with you. During Basic dog obedience training you will never hit or yell at your dog. All corrections are done (sparingly) and copious amounts of praise and love will be used to reinforce wanted behavior**
